Dungeness dessert is an area that the Brits call a desert because it has got some flora and scenery characteristics that remind of an actual desert. It is a coastal place on the South of the island of Great Britain, not far from Dover, maybe an hour drive and couple of hours from London. The scenery is indeed unique for the country thus one can understand the excitement behind the name. It is a touristic place in the summer because of the seaside and its natural beauty. There are quite a few abandoned bits and bobs along with a decommissioned nuclear power plant that adds up to the atmosphere. The famous band of Prodigy recorded there their video clip for the song “Invaders Must Die” where you can see lots of the stuff around.
