In the forests of Ardennes on the Belgian part, and not far from the border with France, lies hidden this quite big lost place. It used to be a factory that belonged to one of Belgium’s oldest and largest manufacturers of munitions, once the second-largest Belgium armaments manufacture. A company that lasted for over two hundred years but went bankrupt in the early 90s. So in this factory, explosives and ammunition were made, however I doubt there is any left around. It consists of nice old buildings with a really eerie atmosphere especially if you visit the place on the afternoon of a moody weather day. Further down the back road you can also find a disused shooting range that belonged to the facilities. Not much left inside the buildings to remind the old days but it is still worth seeing.
